The Primavera Collection

In preparation for spring we ventured out into the world of gems to add to our stock of Colombian emeralds a mélange of color in the form of Ceylon sapphires, Brazilian aquamarine and even a few stunning, yellow diamonds.  We even reached out to Africa where we couldn’t resist a parcel of precision cut, 3mm Zambian emeralds that really pop.

We also utilize some of our selection of large Seafoam emeralds in our Primavera designs. Seafoam is a term we coined to describe emeralds in shades of pastel blue green which are commonly found in emerald deposits in Colombia.  They normally appear on the perimeters of an emerald “plume” where lesser concentrations of chromium and vanadium, the principle ingredients that make an emerald green, are found.

All this material has been incorporated into the beginnings of a growing and evolving collection of one of a kind pieces that celebrates the wonders of spring as it bursts forth in all its floral splendor. Watch for new creations appearing in the store any time now.
